- **Usage data**: browsing behavior via cookies and analytics (Shopify analytics, and if enabled, Google Analytics), used to improve the store.
- **Marketing data**: your email, if you subscribe to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email.

**2. How we use it**
- Fulfill orders, send order/shipping notifications

- Send marketing emails (only if you opted in)
- Detect fraud and keep the store secure

## ② Terms of Service

**1. The agreement**
By using taopeach.com or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms. We are TaoPeach, a small handmade goods studio located at [STORE ADDRESS].

All products are handmade in small batches. Colors, details, and dimensions may vary slightly between units and from product photos. These variations are inherent to handmade goods and are not defects.

**3. Age notice**
Our products are novelty stress-relief and collectible items intended for **ages 15 and up**. They are **not toys for young children** and are not intended for pets. Keep away from small children.

**4. Pricing & payment**
All prices are in USD. Prices may change without notice. Payment is processed securely via PayPal at checkout.

**5. Order acceptance**
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing error). If we cancel a paid order, you receive a full refund.

**6. Shipping**
Ownership and risk pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. See our Shipping Policy for timeframes.

## ③ Refund Policy

We want you to love your squishy. If something's off, here's how we make it right.

**30-day window**: You may request a return or exchange within **30 days of delivery**.

**Eligible for return:**
- Item arrived damaged or defective — we refund or replace it, **and we cover return shipping** (photo required within 7 days of delivery)
- Wrong item received — our mistake, we fix it at our cost
- You changed your mind — return the item **unused and in original packaging** within 30 days; buyer pays return shipping

**Not eligible:**
- Items damaged by misuse (tearing, cutting, soaking, heat)
- Custom/commissioned pieces (unless defective)
- Sale/clearance items (defects excepted)

**How to start a return:**
1. Email [EMAIL] with your order number and a photo
2. We reply within 1–2 business days with instructions
3. Once the return arrives and passes check, we refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days

**Late or missing packages**: If tracking shows "delivered" but you haven't received it, contact us within 14 days — we'll work with the carrier and make it right.

**Order cancellations**: You may cancel within **12 hours** of ordering, before production/packing begins. After that, standard returns apply.

## ④ Shipping Policy

**Where we ship**: United States and Canada (more countries coming soon).

**Processing time**: Every item is made and packed by hand. Orders ship within **3–5 business days** (excludes weekends and holidays). Custom orders may take longer — stated on the product page.

**Delivery time** (after shipping):

**Shipping rates**:

**Duties & taxes**: US and Canadian orders under the de minimis threshold typically incur no import duties. Any import fees charged by your country are the buyer's responsibility.

**Packaging**: Everything ships in a protective gift box with cushioning. Fragile pieces get extra padding — they travel first class, like tiny passengers. 🍑

**Address errors**: Double-check your address at checkout! We ship to exactly what you enter. If a package is returned due to an address error, reshipping costs are covered by the buyer.
